vitaminwater donates to local food banks
for every point tallied
Whitestone, NY (December 10, 2007) - Members of the vitaminwater basketball team usually score points to
help their team. This holiday season, they'll score points so the less fortunate can score a meal.
On the games of December 19th, vitaminwater will donate to food banks across the country
for every point scored collectively by members of its basketball team. the vitaminwater team
includes Tracy McGrady (Houston), Dwight Howard (Orlando), Tony Parker (San Antonio), Shaquille O'Neal
(Miami), Ray Allen (Boston), David Lee (New York) and more.
The contributions raised will go toward select organizations that serve meals to the needy in the
home cities of the athletes. In New York, vitaminwater will donate five meals to
Urban Pathways for every point scored by David Lee and his vitaminwater teammates.
vitaminwater will donate product as well. similar programs will be activated in
the other athlete markets around the country.
"Our athletes drink vitaminwater because it helps them perform at their best," said Rohan Oza,

athletes' performance can help needy people and organizations. We are fortunate to work with
some great local organizations like Urban Pathways to provide food and nutrition to those less fortunate
during the holiday season."
