Urban Pathways very own Director of Development and Communications Nancy Olecki was part of the panel titled: “How to Make the Most of Your Monthly Donor Program’s Operations” along with: Rob Winikates, Product Director, EveryAction Tim O’Leary, Managing Partner and CEO,Next Generation Fundraising, Inc. and Sallie M. Cuffee, Ph.D., Associate Professor, The Social and Behavioral Sciences Department Medgar Evers College/CUNY. Moderated by Seitu Hart, CEO, SJH & Associates Panelists.
Panelist spoke about utilizing multi-channel marketing to further brand exposure, finding out your organizations email demographics, measuring campaign analytics and making donor communication as well as online donations easier.
Nancy shined on both the stage and Twitter during the hour long panel as she spoke about best practices for your nonprofits donor program, keeping donors engaged with your organization by inviting them to events, sending them any new accomplishments, and not being afraid to be creative with your marketing. Lastly, Nancy spoke to the inspired crowd about cultivating your nonprofits donor list. Acquiring your lowest level; the $25-$50 donors who Nancy referred to as the “sand” and growing this group to mid-level donors who get the most information from the organization and donate more, to ultimately the high end donors who donate the most.
